Adminlogin won't work anymore

Greetings everyone,

I have a problem and I'm not sure why it is

happening.....I'm new to OSTicket and I realize there will be a learning

curve with this. I have installed 1.9.12 and had minor hiccups but I

got thru it with the help of ntozier and reading discussions......I have

had everything setup for a day or so, LDAP synced, admin settings

completed, etc., but now I can't seem to log into the SCP with the same

administrator login I have been using......I can get to the SCP page

complete with my company logo, prompting me for my login credentials,

then after I enter them, it takes me to a "The website cannot display

the page, HTTP 500 page" .....Any help would be much appreciated

as I don't want to have to start over again.

Check PHP logs on MySQL should point out what is the problem.

Thank you sir....from the looks of the PHP log file from PHP Manager, there are fatal errors with authentication...Ouch...any ideas?

You would need to look at the code in that file That directory and that line of codeIf you don't have a program called notepad++ or similar i would download this and look at thiscode that has the error

Should I be able to see the plugin.php in here?

Hmm that looks okay.Does your server support .phar?You may need to unphar the plugin to get it to work.

I'm pretty sure it supports .phar......Funny thing is, it was working for a while yesterday....I was able to do a bunch of preliminary setup of our HelpDesk..........Wouldn't it just not work at all the minute I moved the auth-ldap.phar into that directory?

Q: Wouldn't it just not work at all the minute I moved the auth-ldap.phar into that directory?A: Yeah it would cause issues immediate if people were trying to use ldap to auth. Is it possible that someone changed PHP config or something else and restarted the webserver?

I was the only one in there, logged in via my admin login credentials, just setting stuff up in the admin panel.....I wasn't in IIS making any changes there......Do you think I need to just start from scratch with the OSTicket installation part? Or can this be salvaged? lol

You could remove/disable the plugin.And you could reset the admin password via SQL. http://www.tmib.net/content/recover-reset-admin-account-passowrd-osticketYou might have to edit the ost_config table and set the LDAP plugin to isactive 0

I couldn't get anything to work......so I just started with a fresh install.....I just hope that whatever happened the first time, doesn't happen again, especially in a working environment.....Thanks again for everyone's assistance!!
