Plugin to extend Cron class

Hi,I'm writing a plugin to extend the cron class. So far so good..The function that is called by ost's regular cron calls is function run().Can someone advice me how to hook into that (or any) function from a plugin script?

I am not sure I understand what you are trying to do? If you just want your code to run when the cron job runs you can listen on the cron signal.
