Upgrade from 1.9.8.1 to 1.9.12

Hello everyone,I just want to confirm something.I have downloaded 1.9.12 on my ubuntu box, and I am ready to upgrade from 1.9.8.1I just need to copy the contents of the UPLOAD folder into the root of my ticket system (ie - /var/www/htm/osticket) correct? and overwrite everything?I am asking because I tried this and I never got the upgrader to show up under the dashboard, but I did see that the revision was changed to the latest.I just want to make sure I am doing this correctly.For the time being I reverted to my backup before the upgrade.thanks in advance

Yes thats how you would upgrade. The upgrader only runs if there are database changes that need to be made.I do not recall there being any DB structure changes between version 1.9.7 to current (1.9.12).
