i am trying to understand better what a certain part of the system does.I noticed by the outgoing emails section there is a section called default MTA has a dropdown of all my setup email settings plus an option called none : Use php mail function.I was wondering what does that mean. because the php mail function also uses smtp .Does this mean to use the local php.ini settings as opposed to the smtp settings set in the admin panel?
