Storage Plug-In: Attachments on the Filesystem

osTicket Version v1.9.11 (c1b5a33) — Up to dateWeb Server Software Apache/2.2.29 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.29 OpenSSL/1.0.1e-fips DAV/2 mod_bwlimited/1.4MySQL Version 5.5.42PHP Version 5.4.42Staff Side of the UIHiI have installed the WordPress plugin Key4ce osTicket Bridge and configured it. However this plug in requires that the osTicket Attachement Filesystem Plugin be installed as well.I have downloaded and Ftp'd the storage-fs.phar file to the location on the server (/public_html/support/include/plugins). However, In Manage, Plugins, Add New Plugin - No Plugin's are shown to add.I have followed the installation instructions found athttps://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/issues/1243but cannot get further than step 2 in these instructions.I have osTicket installed on a number of sites at the same hosting service and tried installing the same plug-in on another site (without the WordPress plugin) by transferring the file storage-fs.phar (/public_html/osticket/include/plugins) and get the same result as described above.Does anyone have any suggestions for me please?

I don't know if this solves your issue but in my hosting environment I had to use the "PHP Suhosin Executor Include Whitelist"-Setting to allow "phar"-files. Maybe your hoster has a similar setting..

Hi mfelber, thank you for your response. I had a look around the hosting control panel and don't quite know where to find this setting. I have also opened a support request to my hosting service and they say that they are not familiar with the phar file types. If you (or anyone else could guide me further I would be grateful. I am attaching an image of my Control Panel screen. Maybe that will help where I could look? blank

@[deleted] Unfortunately I don't know cPanel so I can't assist you there. Suhosin seems to be a security patch or module for php that should make your php environment safer. So it is often used in hosted environments (your hoster should know that). As far as I know is the default setting for phar files that they are not allowed (not whitelisted), so I guess you must allow it (like I had to do it). I have seen another cpanel user who had this problem: http://www.forum.osticket.com/d/discussion//resolved-oauth-and-cpanel . In my hosting environment the setting is in the php area, there is a section called "PHP Suhosin Executor Include Whitelist" where I can activate a checkbox to allow phar files.I think your hoster should know this type of setting and should also can assist you with this. Maybe you have asked the wrong person of the support. Sometimes it is not easy to get the right one ;-)Maybe it helps if you ask for the "PHP Suhosin Executor Include Whitelist"-Settings and not for "phar" files..
