Change Starting tmp directory

Hello,I am trying to install OSticket on a RHEL apachi server. When trying to use the setup directory I get the error: Warning: session_start() : open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/u00/apache_homes/sdm/:.:/u00/app/php/lib/php/) in /u00/apache_homes/sdm/htdocs/support/setup/setup.inc.php on line 53Fatal error: session_start() : Failed to initialize storage module: files (path: ) in /u00/apache_homes/sdm/htdocs/support/setup/setup.inc.php on line 53I talked to our server admin and I am not allowed to use the /tmp directory in the system but there is another directory that can be used. How can i tell OS ticket installer to use this other directory?

version of osTicket?You ought to be able to change like 53 of the file it indicates.INC_DIR seems to not be working right or something.

Hi ntozier,I am running version 1.9.9, the latest stable version. Line 53 is : session_start(); I searched for this function and could not find it.

I'm getting start_session() on line 53 in my install (1.9.9). That git hub link is for 1.8 Also it is not crashing out at the point but before. It is also just linking to a local path under setup.inc.php and has nothing to do with that folder. It is clearly unable to access the tmp directory. I need to figure out how to change this path.

Was able to resolve. in the php.ini file.... php_admin_value open_basedir "{Leave as is}"php_admin_value upload_tmp_dir "{my path to temp}"php_admin_value session.save_path "{my path to temp}"
