Cronjob via HTTPS

Hallo everyone,does rcron.php runs with a HTTPS-URL?My rcron.php runs with http but not with https :-(

What url are you using in your rcron.php?

my url in rcron.php is "https://mydomain.com/osticket/rcron.php"the same rcron run on a subdomain perfect ("http://osticket.mydomain.com/rcron.php")I don't know why it not work with https

@[deleted]010 I'm using rcron.php with https without a problem. I'm using osticket 1.9.8.1 now, but it also worked in older versions I have used..

@[deleted]I have 2 osticket-folder on my sever. the orginal-folder ist osticket which is located with http://osticket.domain.comThe I had made a duplicate of the folder (on ftp: website/osticket) to run my osticket on my website with https (https://domain.com/ticketsystem)I had changed the Helpdesk-URL in admin-section from http://osticket.domain.com to https://domain.com/ticketsystemI am using a external cron-job service. I have change the path but it dont run (same file, same content, buth other server path)

and where did you place the rcron.php file?

@[deleted]010 It seems to me not the intended way to set the url in the rcron.php to .../rcron.php. I think it should really be set to the virtual path ../api/tasks/cron like it is described here by one of the developers (peter) of osticket: http://forum.osticket.com/d/discussion//email-polling-not-working Maybe you should try the url you have set in your external cron service in a browser like firefox to get more information what happened when it will be called. Sometimes the feedback from the browser is helpful. I'm using an external rcron service like easycron with this documentation from them: https://www.easycron.com/cron-job-tutorials/how-to-set-up-cron-job-for-osticket but with https..

I've always used the service of www.cron-job.org. They say that HTTPS will be possible. When I created a cron-job by another website, everything is going great. So the details of www.cron-job.org isn't true.What I don't understand is that I haven't set any API-key for this cron-job but it works. Thanks you very much for your help. So far, I don't really find cron-job services easily to understand :-D
