https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/releases/tag/v1.10-dprSo far looks like the best thing since air was invented.. Looks like a lot of our feature requests have made it into production. We are going to test this asap.
Going to install this in a few minutes and have it upgrade the our test site running 1.9.8
Please keep in mind that this is a DPR (Developer Preview Release). Even though they say beta on the download page... its more akin to Alpha software, and RC's (Release Candidates) are more like Beta (in my not so humble opinion). This software should NOT be used in a production environment. Thanks for testing!ps. I really love how many new and updated features are in 1.10. It's been *REALLY* hard not to post spoilers about it after seeing it in action.
When I tried to upgrade to the 1.10 to test and use it any of the tickets I previously had were not showing.
@[deleted] what version are you coming from? Does your user account have access to the department that the tickets are assigned to?
We came from 1.9.7 I believe. But the upgrade script was showing 1.9.6
It shows tickets in the system just gives me white page see below.
That's clearly not a white page, as there is text on it. Please consult your php error log and see if there is any errors.
The only errors I see in the logs are DB Error #1146, 1054
I can confirm upgrading from 1.9.7 the script was saying updating to/from 1.9.6 Once upgraded no tickets can be seen. Although the counts in open, overdue, and closed seem accurate. My DB errors are #1054, 1146, 1104, 1064, and 1091
There's no going backwards either. At least without loosing tickets and settings. I tried to go back down to 1.9.8 and then cant even login. So went back to 1.10 hoping to find a solution.
DPRs are generally for fresh installations not upgrades. To showcase the new features, and let developers get a head start on their dev cycle for upgrading their mods, etc. I would be shocked if the upgrader worked at all in this version.
