Cannot receive email from a customer

Hello all, This is my case.A customer send a ticket from the front end which I receive. I reply to the customer to his gmail account and he receive that answer. When the customer tried to reply me from his gmail account I am not receiving anythinf on the ticket system but do receive the answer in my thunderbird client. both use the same settings.

There is no cron. The function I am talking about is calling "email piping". Any idea how to set up the pipe?
