So for example, there is a server down issue that is affecting multiple users in multiple locations.  I wanted to know if there is a means to create a Master "problem" ticket for the server issue, and as end users report in create child tickets attaching them to the master/parent.

There is no way to do this via the UI at this time.It is not a feature in osTicket.

Could imagine this as a great enhancement to osTicket ... kinda like the referencing on github or the "inter-item" links of our IT asset management software. Maybe some day...

I am trying to go through my old dev files as I believe I ported it over to 1.7 or 1.9...I have a need ofr it now in my new role here so I will be working on porting it over to 1.11. I will also be testing the new Categorization options in osTicket and if they are not sufficient I will be creating a mod for those as well.

Did I mention how much I hate coding?
