Is there any way to create/update tickets through SMS?

not unless you have some sort of SMS to Email gateway that you can use.

That's not a feature of osTicket. If you have an "email to SMS" gateway, the messages would simply become emails to your system, and there's no reason osTicket couldn't process them like any other emails.Correction: You would need an "SMS to email" gateway tor receive.Jack

And a warning: Incoming SMS messages would not pose a problem. On the other hand, if osTicket sends ticket update emails out to an SMS gateway, it could consume a lot of your messaging quota. You would need to use the plain text template, and you would need to trim it down to the minimum.Jack
