Do I need to create the emails in my Cpanel?

Hi.I don't think any emails are being sent from os ticket. Do I need to create the emails in the cpanel of my hosting or is just having them set up in os ticket all i need?

Please seePlease read before requesting assistanceand provide the requested information.Of course whatever email addresses you use in osTicket must be valid email accounts. If that means you have to create them, and if you must use Cpanel, then yes.Jack

Wow.If you change your mind and need help, we need that info that's not relevant. The reason I asked for it is because the setup has changed as the software has progressed through different versions. But the short answer is still the same--You can't send email to, or retrieve email from a NON-EXISTENT account. Duh.Jack

There are a number of ways that you could set this up. What version of osTicket are you running?What enviornment are you running under? (Window/Linux/Other)What webserver are you using? (Apache/IIS/Other)What version of PHP?Do you want to send email via SMTP? Or do you want to send email via phpMailer?What emails have you setup in osTicket?Do you host your own mail server?Have you setup cron / windows task scheduler?All that information in that link is relevant.
