so. I dont have any PHP experience but i would like to see if someone has tried this. I am using the MOD from the thread http://osticket.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1105(http://osticket.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1105) as a client database, I think it would be nice to expand on this where when i am adding a client i could use a drop down to set what company the client is with and a drop down for the software we support for them.
Added to that the primary thing i would like to happen is when a client opens a ticket by emailing in i would like OS Ticket to cross reference the Email address they are emailing from and populate the client information into the ticket.
If there is no client information open the ticket with generic information and send an auto reply asking for their information to put into our DB and the person who is assigned the tkt can add it to the DB.
The Client DB mod is pretty awesome and it has been useful for personal use however my manager likes the process that i am using and we would like to implement it for all our clients. making things a little more difficult.
