PHP version : PHP Version 5.3.10-1 ubuntu 3.4

Operating System : Linux ubuntu

configuring SMTP can not transmit a box giving me login error but the data entered is correct.

OSTicket's current version is 1.6ST. You should not be running 1.7x for production environments. The devs have asked "To help us streamline and manage bugs responsibly, please remember to utilize github (https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.7/issues(https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.7/issues)) when reporting issues."
