File attachment issue

I'm using the latest osTicket.When a user tries to attach a file, he get's the following error (attached).What I missed?Btw, I don't have such troubles with previous version of osTicket (if I remember correctly, it was 1.9.3).Thanks in advance.

Hm! attachment doesn't work here too?The error says:The page at http://myosticketsystem.com says:File Upload Error:filename.pngundefined404

Attachment settings have been changed a little bit in 1.9.4, so you should do the following:- Make sure the attachment settings are still ok inside the Admin Panel- Check your web server and/or PHP error logs for errors- Verify that non of the following is the problem (when possible) - the browser (try different browser on different systems) - the file or filetype (try different files and types, e.g. a .png and a .jpg)Let us know what you found ;)PS: Saying your using the "latest version" is not so good - next time please have a look at the following topic which gives you some idea what information helps us, the forum members, to help you ;)http://forum.osticket.com/d/discussion//please-read-before-requesting-assistance#latest

Hi,Thanks for the reply.- attachment settings are ok. Just to let you know - I can attach files for the opened thread (me = agent).- the problem persists in all browsers- I try allowed extensions (allowed in admin panel)- I use osTicket (v1.9.4-18-g9c9bfae), nginx/1.4.1, mysql 5.5.37, php 5.5.3-1ubuntu2.6

Have you added .png as an allowed extension?Admin panel -> Settings -> Tickets -> Ticket Attachment Settings -> Config -> Additional File Type Filters?There is a github bug report for something that looks exactly like this at: https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/issues/1427

Sure, .png is there. Thank you for the log. Based on that I can tell you that it's not an osTicket issue. It's a nginx issue, so I suggest to search the web for a solution to "open() failed (20: Not a directory) nginx" since I am not familiar with nginx that is the best I can advise ;)

Since I got no experience with nginx, I can't help :(I can only make the (stupid) suggestion to switch to e.g. apache or any other web server software.

Okay, thanks...But I think there should be a solution with nginx usage. I think this issue will soon become common.

Ok, I found a solution for me. Here is what I've added to my nginx conf: location ~ ^/ajax.php/(.*)$ { try_files $uri $uri/ /ajax.php; }
