My manager, for god knows why, wishes to remove the required tag of some of the fields on the forms. We have upgraded to 1.9.4For instance, when opening a ticket he wishes on the Ticket Details screen, under Form Fields the Issue Details to be not required. Anyway we can do this?
There is no way to do this currently in the UI.To achieve it, you would need to modify the source code. But if I remember correctly, the developers are aware of that and plan to make it possible in a future version of osTicket (no ETA) to make these fields optional. Maybe my history is wrong, but I guess there were some plans to integrate it sooner or later.
