Synchronize users with custom mysql database

Hi there,I am using osTicket 1.9.3 and just wondering, is there any easy to follow tutorial on how to create users in osTicket using API or PHP, MySQL code so I can synchronize my users with the osTicket users in the database?Thank you in advance for your help.

Stupid question, but why don't you use the import feature to get your users into osTicket with a csv file?Agent Panel -> Users -> Import (at the uppr right corner) next to "Add user" blank So you could export the users from your current database and import them into osTicket. Since I have not done/used it before, I don't know how osTicket will behave when you import (the same) users multiple times. I mean it could create duplicates or overwrites the users or just display an error message telling you that the users are already inside osTicket. Guess you need to test it ;)

osTicket users in the database?A: No. You should use the UI to make your users. The UI will let you create individual users, or mass import them as @[deleted] described.

Just trying to find a way to synchronize users in osTicket with user data of an ERP-System. It would be awesome if we could get this import function also in form of an API to automate user creation from other systems.Creating a csv with the propper data at regular intervals from the ERP is no problem, but without an API and short of reengingeering the script I can then only update manually. Maybe a nice feature for a future release: user creation via API

@[deleted] please do not hijack other peoples threads. If you would like to make a suggestion like this please use the Suggestion and Feedback section of the forum and start your own thread. It's probably also worth my mentioning that the API is going to be revisited in the future, and when it comes time to do so I doubt that anyone is going to revisit this thread when looking for feedback on how to make it better.

@[deleted]Import will work, but I am just finding a way to automate this instead of importing the users again and again. @[deleted]Thank you, for now I am tapping into the Database and insert/update directly to the user database until the API revisited in the future.
