Installation Steps for Windows Environment

Hi,We want to install OSTicket system in our environment , can any one provide the installation steps or documents for windows environment.We are using OSTicket version is 1.9.

Ntozier,As per the link we have installed PHP and Mysql. But we cant to continue the installation due to mysql database connection error.Pls find the below error. Unable to connect to MySQL server: No connection could be

made because the target machine actively refused it

As always, it helps to give as much detail as you can. We don't know which version of Windows you're using, so it would be difficult to give you step-by-step answers. And you certainly didn't tell us you're trying to connect to a remote database.Did you enable the MySQL service, and is it running?Do you have a firewall running, and is it configured to allow connections on the MySQL port?Is osTicket running on the same machine, or a different machine from the database? If different, is it on the same internal network? The questions could go on and on.Jack

You wold want to make sure that your webserver is allowed to talk to mysql.Also you would want to make sure that your mysql database user has permissions on your host. (this is generally not a issue if both are on the same server).You should check any firewalls on the MySQL server (SELinux?) and make sure that its not blocking that port.
