When a new support is entered the person registering the ticket does not get an email with ticket number etc in but admin and the support staff do.
Have gone through settings and they all seem ok, anyone suggest anything that needs looking at.
I've noticed that when I use an email address that is configured in OST and open a ticket that it doesn't seem to send the email to me. Are you using an email configured in OST? If so try a gmail/hotmail/yahoo/other address and see if you can replicate the same behavior.

Yeah I've been meaning to look into why that happens, but never seem to find the time to actually do it. I'll forward a copy of this thread off to Peter and maybe he can have it fixed for 1.7 ST.
