CRON job on Windows Server 2008

Dear possible saviour,

I have now been trying for a few days to get osTicket to schedule a CRON job on my windows server.

First I tried with Plesk's Scheduler as instructed on http://osticket.com/wiki/POP3/IMAP_Settings(http://osticket.com/wiki/POP3/IMAP_Settings)

but cannot modify the User Agent and the response was a redirect to the login page.

I then tried setting it in Windows Task scheduler with the program as:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\php.exe" (Since the mentioned "c:\php\bin\php.exe" doesn't exist...

and the Argument as:

"C:\inetpub\vhosts\blugecko.net\httpdocs\helpdesk\api\cron.php"

This seems to be executing without error, yet I am still unable to get the emails to fetch.

I have zero experience with php and this is the first time I've ever even heard of a CRON job! lol

Please could someone perhaps point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it greatly.

Not yet unfortunately... Apparently the page does fire using the task scheduler but it appears that it keeps redirecting itself to the login page which does not help at all...

I see two things wrong here.

1. where is the -f in the command? -f tells php to parse a file.

2. "C:\inetpub\vhosts\blugecko.net\httpdocs\helpdesk\ api\cron.php"

has a space in the path after \helpdesk\ and before api\. Please fix that.

You should probably be using the Windows Task Scheduler, and not Plesks.
