osTicket v1.9.4-rc5.

Inside the agent panel, viewing the closed tickets screen (all tickets listed are in closed status) and trying to select and delete several tickets that we no longer need in the system. When we click on delete, we get the following error

!Unable to change status for any of the selected tickets.

So the only way to delete them is to open one ticket at a time...can this be fixed?

I have just tried to confirm this and cannot.  I am running v1.9.4-rc5 (209379c)I selected three tickets and clicked delete and they deleted.

Just curious, why would you want to delete closed tickets? Is this an exception, or is it to be SOP?Jack

Thanks guys....I may have to reload a fresh copy :)

Good question....just trying to clear out the test tickets we generated and found it weird we couldn't delete them all at once.....

Thanks for the reply back!!!

i can confirm this. webserver os: ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS, php 5.5.1rc1, osticket 1.9.4 rc5and i get this not just in the closed tickets pane. it's in any view, open, overdue, closed.even if i only select 1 ticket, i'm unable to close and unable to change status. if i go into the ticket, then i can change status, or delete the ticket without problems.this is connecting to the ticket system from a windows 8.1 machine, using internet explorer 11.0.9600.17280from the same windows machine, using google chrome Version 38.0.2125.104 m,i can select multiple tickets and change their status, or delete them, again without any problems.so it would appear to be an internet explorer compatibility issue.the multiple ticket delete request appears to reach the server without any problems. php error log entry from the osticket webserver, when i tried to delete 3 overdue tickets from internet explorer84.45.154.103 - - "GET /scp/ajax.php/tickets/status/delete?count=3&_uid=1414504755532 HTTP/1.1" 200 1194 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/tickets.php?status=overdue" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Trident/7.0; rv.0) like Gecko"the same request from google chrome does not create any php error log entry.

i was looking at the wrong file, there is no php/apache error log entry created, it's the access.log i was looking at.this is the access log when i go to overdue tickets, select 3, and delete them using google chrome:84.45.154.103 - - "GET /scp/tickets.php?status=overdue&_pjax=%23pjax-container HTTP/1.1" 200 4594 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/index.php" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.104 Safari/537.36"84.45.154.103 - - "GET /scp/ajax.php/tickets/status/delete?count=3&_uid=1414505578301 HTTP/1.1" 200 1194 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/tickets.php?status=overdue" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.104 Safari/537.36"84.45.154.103 - - "POST /scp/ajax.php/tickets/status/deleted HTTP/1.1" 201 380 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/tickets.php?status=overdue" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.104 Safari/537.36"84.45.154.103 - - "GET /scp/tickets.php?status=overdue HTTP/1.1" 200 5578 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/tickets.php?status=overdue" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.104 Safari/537.36"84.45.154.103 - - "GET /scp/autocron.php HTTP/1.1" 200 322 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/tickets.php?status=overdue" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.104 Safari/537.36"84.45.154.103 - - "GET /scp/ajax.php/config/scp HTTP/1.1" 200 516 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/tickets.php?status=overdue" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.104 Safari/537.36"this is the access log entries when i go to closed tickets, select 3 and try to delete them using IE:84.45.154.103 - - "GET /scp/tickets.php?status=closed&_pjax=%23pjax-container HTTP/1.1" 200 4542 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/tickets.php?status=overdue" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Trident/7.0; rv.0) like Gecko"84.45.154.103 - - "GET /scp/ajax.php/tickets/status/delete?count=3&_uid=1414505643985 HTTP/1.1" 200 1194 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/tickets.php?status=closed" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Trident/7.0; rv.0) like Gecko"84.45.154.103 - - "POST /scp/ajax.php/tickets/status/deleted HTTP/1.1" 200 1186 "http://help.scl.co.uk/scp/tickets.php?status=closed" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Trident/7.0; rv.0) like Gecko"

Thanks nhybgtvfr,

I have confirmed that it's specifically Internet Explore (I'm on ver 11) that can't delete tickets from the queue. I tested both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and I had no problem deleting tickets from any of the ticket queues.

Microsoft IE is the problem.
