I was recently forced into rebuilding my OSTicket instance after a malware infection was detected on the old server. The IP address of my OSTicket server did change with the rebuild but my MySQL DB server was unaffected.
The problem I am having relates to the URLs in the email alerts for staff.
E.g. this link
On the old server when a staff member received notification that a ticket had been assigned they could click this link and they'd bypass any login and go directly to the ticket.
After the rebuild when they click the link they are being prompted for a ticket ID and email.
The weird thing is that a staff member just showed me that she still has an email and and open ticket from before the rebuild which still works without prompting for a login.
I inherited this build of OSTicket so it may be that the problem I'm having is due to knowledge transfer and not something I broke during the rebuild...can't say for sure.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in Advance!
