OSTicket is no pulling Email

I have OSTicket setup and functioning well. The only issue I am having is that it will not send email alerts until a user has logged in to the staff panel and then must actually then refresh the ticket log for the ticket to appear in the system. At that time emails are sent to support as well as the submitter.

I have tried both IMAP and POP, neither are auto fetching. I also have the auotcron feature enabled.

Have you setup cron?

I have the 'Auto Cron' setting enabled, however I do not have a method of setting up a CRON job as we are using Google Apps for Business hosted Email.

OST will grab email as soon as a user opens the Admin panel, but not automatically.

If you cannot setup cron then your only option is autocron.

Autocron will only fire when a staff member does things.

This is working like it is intended to.

I'm not real sure why you cannot setup a cron job because your using google apps though. Cron or Windows TaskScheduler are run on the host server, not at the email end.
