"osTicket Fatal Error" Message / no access

I have analyzed, repaired, and optimized my DB tables; but I am still unable to even get to the OS Ticket login screen, and I keep receiving the following e-mails:

Has your MySQL password changed?

Can you turn on MySQL logging and take a look at the error logs to see what the actual error is?

(although it sounds like either OST cannot get to your mysql server or cannot authenticate)

Sorted the problem yesterday

In the end, it turned out that my updated password had not propagated to the ost-config.php file (located in the "included" folder).

I updated the DB password in the ost-config.php file and voila!

My recommendation, check to make sure that your DB password, username, and other information fields all match the way that they need to.
