SMTP error if i non-english character in "Email Name"

I have been searching this forum up and down but cant find a solution for my problem.

If I used chinese character in the " Email Name: " _______ (Optional email's FROM name.) then I will not able to send it out. There will be an SMTP error msg in the dashboard.

Unable to email via mail.xinli.com

Validation failed for: =?utf-8?Q?"=E4=B8=9C=E6=96=B9=E5=8F=B0=E7=A7=98=E4=B9=A6?= =?utf-8?Q?=E5=A4=84aa"?=

But if I use a normal "Email Name:" e.g "Thomas", then I can send out.

Wondering which code I should modify.

From the top of my head I would say that you would want to edit the \include\class.email.php.

I believe these are the codes i need to mod, but i am totally new with it.

I tried to hardcode it, $fromname="ChineseWords";

And of coz it didnt work...

I presumed that since you were asking that way that you were a php programmer or something. There are several threads on this subject on the forums. If you search for umlauts you should find the solution.
