Installation Requirements

Hello,

I am a looking to install osTicket but I want to make sure that I can do it in a certain way. I currently have a setup where on one machine I have my website application running on Apache Tomcat. The database (MySQL) is also installed on that server. In addition, I have a separate machine where I am running Apache HTTP as my web server. I am using an AJP connector between the two servers.

The installation documentation that I see is saying that osTicket and MySQL need to be installed on the web server. My question is can I install osTicket on my application server and then route the access to it to my HTTP server on the different machine? If so how do I do that or can you point me to some documentation that can help me set this up?

Honestly, I don't know. I have never played with Tomcat. I was sort of hoping that someone else who has might be able to answer your question, but its been a few days now so I thought I should chime in. I think that your best bet would be dedicate the 15 minutes or so it will take and just try it.
