No body text when receiving mail from Sparrow

Hi All,

Just installed osTicket and it works great. But when i send a test mail form Sparrow mail app in Mac I only get the subject in a ticket. When i send a mail from mail app in mac it works just fine.

Is this a bug? or a configuration error from me?

Sorry I'm not familiar with Sparrow, but I would guess that it's sending the email with improperly formatted headers or something.

Yeah probably, but sparrow is a widely used e-mail client and it is a bit of a problem then.

is there any development going on on osTicket or is it standing still?

1.7 RC1 should be being released soon. Although I have to say I'm not sure if they are looking at mail parsing.

I guess its possible that it is a character set issue. Many people have experienced problems due to umlauts, etc. You could check out those threads as there is a solution... but I'm not sure if it would fix your problem.

Thanks for the info,

I think it's similar to the umlaut problem, only the people with that problem received a part of the body text and with sparrow it's just empty. But I will dive in to that. Must be something with characters...
