Hi,I've forked the osTicket-1.8 github repository and I'm seeing that there are 1.9 tags in there. However, the master branch doesn't include 1.9 changes. Should I not assume that the master branch is the most recent stable version of the code? Should I just use the tags for future upgrades? What is osTicket's Git workflow and how are you using the master branch and tags? Thank you very much for any clarification. I just want to be sure that if I upgrade to a 1.9 release tag, that I'm getting stable code.

I know that this doesn't answer your question, but we generally recommend that you download and use the distribution archives from the http://osticket.com/downloads web site. The most recent release GITHUB style is: https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/tree/v1.9.3

Thanks, ntozier. I have customized the code slightly, and was trying to follow the instructions here... http://osticket.com/blog/86. I think your last sentence answers my most pressing question, but it would still be appreciated if someone could clarify how the master branch is being used.
