Tickets Alerts received when i logged into admin account

sir,i am getting Email alerts on my outlook . when i logged through admin account on OST.suddenly number of tickets i received on my outlook.same is the case for other accounts as well.assigned persons would be notified about tickets when i logged in OST account.any one help me in this matter.Regards,

I don't have exactly the same problem, but I do get stale ticket alerts right after logging in as admin. No idea why that triggers it.

osTicket doesn't run as service (it's a script) - you'll need to setup a cron job or recurring task for Windows - see http://osticket.com/wiki/POP3/IMAP_Setting_Guide#Schedule_Polling

stale tickets can be avoided if we make settings ADMIN PANEL--> MANAGE -->SLA PLAN..>Disable overdue alerts.and if we increase SLA time.

peter,i have made settings according to the following link. but these settings are not working :(

@[deleted], if you setup your email account and then Polling (aka cron/windows task scheduler) correctly then it should be working. If it is not working then you must be getting an error... either on the screen of in your php Error logs. If you would like more assistance we will need to know whats actually not working and any error codes your seeing.
