I tried adding a Date/Time Custom field to existing ticket details and to a custom form, the new fields will show when opening a new ticket and when staff updates a ticket (by editing), but the date/time does not save to the database - all other field types are working correctly, but date-time always clears when you save so the ticket view will not show you what was entered in the date/time fields and and the data is just lost.I am using v1.9.0-3-gae5e138 Any idea's? I have attached screenshots. There appears to be a bug with this version of osTicket that is preventing they dynamic date/time fields from being saved to the database. I first did an updated install from v1.7.0 and thought maybe something just didn't update correctly, so I also did a clean instal of 1.9.0.3 but had the exact same issue.
I hope no one minds, but I went ahead and opened https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/issues/942 for this (doesn't seem to be a spot for 1.9 issues yet). It is much more detailed and the flows of steps are nicer. This seems to be a bug in the newest version of osticket
This will be resolved with this commit :https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-1.8/pull/944This thread can be closed
