Getting cron errors on mail fetch, unpack() function

Warnings are not Errors. They are Warnings.IS something actually not working?

ntozier:Things seem to be working fine - just hundreds of emails every day from the cron job with the error line in them.I could switch Default Log Level to just ERROR level.I'll try the patch

I applied the changes and the error is still coming up every 2 minutes. I will switch to ERRORs for the default log level. Going to try to upgrade to 1.9 tonight anyway.

@[deleted] no worries. It amazes me how many people call warning and notices errors. ;)

Just warnings but they are stuffing the mailbox with 700+ messages each day. Upgraded to 1.9 RC1 and the same result. Replaced entire tnef_decoder.php file and now I have on every mail fetch:PHP Warning: unpack(): Type v: not enough input, need 2, have 0 in /var/www/clients/client3/web15/web/support/include/tnef_decoder.php

I do not have any reason but the error has stopped coming up. Is there a cache or something? It stopped over the weekend. I think this should be closed for now.
