New Ticket Email Alert Problem

Hello, we have a couple of problems with the email alert for new tickets. 1 - The Staff's view ticket %{ticket.staff_link} tags is not interpreted correctly. On the email template I have this link: <a href="http://www.miosito.it/scp/%%7Bticket.staff_link%7D"> log in </ a> but the link does not work (pretty obvious). 2 - The downloaded email on the mail client is not displayed (such as Thunderbird), while on the webmail appears, but with the wrong link. My setup is: osTicket Version v1.8.1.2 Server Software Apache/2.2.22 (Debian) PHP Version 5.4.4-14 + deb7u8 MySQL Version 5.5.35 PHP Extensions GDlib imap xml XML API xml-dom json mbstring gettext Database Space Used 10.62 MiB Database Space for Attachments 7.70 MiBThank You.

1. have you tried simply: a href="%{ticket.staff_link}"?2. I have no idea what your trying to say. Please try putting it in another way, or include a screen shot.

Ok, point 1 solves my problem.But, i don't know why in my email client the alert message appears blank, but in my own webmail client message appears correctly...

Via Web I'm using RoundCube, and it works correctly.On PC I'm using Thunderbird, and it not works.

Can you try a different client to see if its just that client? (like outlook, postbox, windows live mail, pegasus, etc)

ehm... Thunderbird must works correctly! What do you think about? May I have a misconfiguration in my Thunderbird or in my PC? In my office we have some workstations, with windows and linux all with thunderbird installed, but in all of them it doesn't work...

So the answer is no you can't try installing another client to try to troubleshoot this?

Thunderbird is known to have issues decoding/displaying base64 encoded emails. For consistent formatting, osTicket sends out base64 encoded emails.
