Email Fetch Not Working

OS: CentOSosTicket Ver: 1.8.0.1Issue: Standard fetch procedure does not successfully fetch any emails while configured for any and all combination of settings, given POP and IMAP with and without SSL. I have inserted the cron job which does successfully fetch the emails, but only while I'm logged into the site and active (as expected). Unfortunately I can't be navigating the site all day just so osTicket will successfully fetch emails.I assume osTicket is designed to fetch emails natively without cron?

osTicket has three mail collection options.1. staff activity (obviously this is not ideal for non 24 hour shops)2. piping (direct delivery via pipe)3. cron.If you setup cron, and your mail settings are correct (and your cron is running correctly) email will get picked up every time cron is configured to run . I'd say that your settings are correct and that you have Admin panel -> Settings -> Emails -> "Poll on auto-cron" checked.Do you also have "Enable POP/IMAP polling" checked?

Side note: many CentOS users have reported issues with selinux rules blocking traffic. If you are running selinux you might want to try disabling it to test and then writing a rule to make things work. (Make sure you re-enable selinux afterwards if you want to be running it.)

@[deleted] - Thanks for the follow-up. Turns out that my crontab wasn't properly configured. I made two key changes:1. Add executable permissions to osTicket's cron.php2. Used the local instance of PHP instead of that in /etc/phpAfter restarting the crond service, all appears to be running properly now.
