I tried to install osTicket, but when I hit the submit button after I have entered all the information I get a blank page on install.phpThe php error log shows:PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'Table 'MYTABLENAME.ost_form' doesn't exist' in ABSOLUTEPATH/include/class.orm.phpPHP version is 5.3Would love to use osTicket - any help is much appreciated.Martin
Sounds like a problem with the installer. I'd try downloading 1.8.1.1 or 1.8.1 and install that. (then you should be able to upgrade to current). I suppose I should ask which version you are trying to install also. :)
Thanks! I found 1.8 on github and successfully installed it. Originally I had the latest version 1.8.1.2
HiI've been having trouble installing osTicket too. I can't even get to the set up stage (I have done so before), and have a working version elsewhere.I've copied all the files in the upload "folder" to the web server as in the instructions at http://osticket.com/wiki/Installation but when I try to load the directory in the browser I just get a blank screen, no set up screen at all. I've tried 1.8.1.2, 1.8 and 1.7.7Any ideas?Thanks
I've just reuploaded the files and if i go to http://mysite.com/setup I get the following error:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC in /hsphere/local/home/aurat14/osticket.aurahosting.eu/include/class.plugin.php on line 110Edit: Oh, maybe I need php 5.3 for OST 1.8http://forum.osticket.com/d/discussion//upgrade-from-v1-7-1-to-v1-8-1-2I got the blank screen with v 1.7.7 too though
I haven't touched 1.7.7, but you do indeed need PHP 5.3+ for 1.8+.
