ticket link missing in providing additional information email

re the following template, the ticket link is missing (%{ticket.client_link}) when sent to the client. The same merge link (%{ticket.client_link}) works ok in the original email sent to client (v1.8.1.2)Subject: Ticket Message Added Re %{ticket.subject}Hi %{ticket.name}, Thank you for providing additional information regarding support Ticket #%{ticket.number}, "%{ticket.subject}". You can view this support request progress online here: %{ticket.client_link}. Thanks & regards, %{signature}

I'm sorry but you are not real clear about what your talking about. There is no "Additional information" template. What template are you talking about?

The default version of that template doesn't appear to have a ticket link in it on my installation.HAve you added it?

Its possible I may have done that. Does that link only work on some templates?
