Hi allI'm not sure if there is a setting I have to check or uncheck, but it appears that the only time new emails/tickets are downloading into OSticket is when I click the "refresh: button and then it will pull in all the emails and create the tickets (or update existing tickets with customer responses).I thought OSticket, can do this without someone being logged in and/or hitting refresh.  Eg. if a customer emails at 2AM that if none of our staff is on, they will get the ticket confirmation.

Version 1.8.0.2 is a little old at this point so you may want to update.  However I don't think that will fix your problem.  It sounds to me like you never setup cron.  Please read: http://osticket.com/wiki/Email_Settingsandhttp://osticket.com/wiki/POP3/IMAP_Settings
