Restoring back from 1.8.1.1 to 1.6.0 ended in disaster Please Help

Hi I backed up both the database and OSticket 1.6.0 via cPanel and updated to 1.8.1.1 which went without issue. I noticed all SQL views then didn't work and tickets that were pulled in with mail fetch (no department assigned) were missing. I decided it would be easier to restore back to 1.6.0. I attempted to do this via cPanel. It ended with the error : The following errors were found :View 'theitf5_osti381.CALLS IN' references invalid table(s) or column(s) or function(s) or definer/invoker of view lack rights to use themCALLS in is a vew I set up in mysqladmin.Since the restore error, OSticket is down, the following message being displayed.Fatal Error: Contact system adminstrator.Does anyone have any experience of this that could possibly help me out?Many thanksJason

Hi, update.I logged in to mysql admin and noticed the database for OSticket had all tables missing. From cPanel backup and restore wizard I restored the database from my local copy and all seems to be working again. It has reverted back to 1.0.6 however the installation in cPanel is showing 1.8.1.1.Not a big deal, just glad to have tickets back. I'll now test on a separate install.Posting purely for others that may have this issue.

The database changes between 1.6 and 1.8 are pretty substantial, it stands to reason that your stored views would no longer work after the upgrade.With out specific mysql or php or webserver errors there is very little that we can do to assist you further.
