I don't see any reason why not. You would of course need to install the pre-requisites (Apache, PHP54, MySQL, etc). Predominantly the primary difference between the two is that one has the desktop packages installed and one does not (like X, Gnome, KDE, Unity, etc).Of course then you would need to deal with Unity... /shiver. ;)
