restrict open ticket from email

Hello,

i'm new on this forum so i hope this is the right place to post this.

After searching the forum i didn't find a solution for this, so here it goes.

i want to customize osticket to open tickets only from the web page not from email directly but still to be able to reply to the responses from email.

basically i don't want to open a ticket for every spam i get.

how would you manage email responses to the new ticket email? I'd assume you'd still want those appended to the ticket right?

of course i want to keep the option to reply to ticket directly from email, but after a period of time i start to receive spam messages and the system is opening tickets i don't want, this is the issue.

If i restrict users to open tickets only from web browser the issue described will disappear.
