What are your settings in Admin panel -> Tickets -> Attachments? How big was the file that you attached?

Try posting an image or attachment in the rich text editor. It should save a file in the folder. There was a bad bug in 1.8.1 preventing the pluggable storage system from working for email attachments. It's since been fixed if you want to grab the latest from GitHub.

No.  Read it like this:"There was a bad bug in 1.8.1"...."It's since been fixed if you want to grab the latest from GitHub."

i'm sorry sir I didn't get youI have wrote in my first message that I already have the 1.8.1 installed...

Jared said grab a newer version of osTicket from github, not the plugin.

oh its kind of problem because it took me a whilte to upgrade to the 1.8.1 version (a lot a lot of customized code...) , is there is anyone here that knows what code has the bug fix and can refer me to the file ??thanks!

You would have to go through all the commits and closed issues to determine that.

where can i find the closed issues and commits ?thanks

On github. by clicking on issues.
