cron job

Concerning your server not allowing a cronjob... is it a security setting that is keeping you from running one?

I have a requirement where I need to use the Cron Job, But our server doesn't allow the Cron Jobs, So I got to know that in OSTicket we have something called autocron.php.

How to use this ?

I need to update a table every month 1st, It should not run again in the same month.
