Hi,I need to use a special numbering for tickets, which is:5888-14-nnnnnnnnThe 5888-14 are static, and the nnnnnnnn would be the real numbering that changes, starting with 00000001.Can anyone guide me as to where (which files) should this modification be made in the software source.All help is appreciated.Thanks,Fernando.
Hello, hoping your osticket version is latest. you have to change in the class.tickets.php file udner the include directory near the ~ 2500th line I have modified my ticket as: DepartmentLocation-today'sdate-3 random numers;since we have two branches in INDIA, i am segregating based on location . EX: ITBLR-140314-SA7 and HRHYD-130314-A1JITBLR: IT Department from bangalore location !HRHYD: Hr Depart ffrom the hyderbad location . It again depends on the length of the name of dept & location.
