SMTP problem

Hi. I've just installed osTicket and it looks great but i'm having some problems with smtp.I'm able to get mails via IMAP.I forgot to tell when i click on SAVE CHANGES it takes a long time and nothing happens. So i check the database and decided enter information manually.I'm sure about configuration, it is right cause i'm using it with mozilla thunderbird.Any idea, suggestion ?Sorry about my english

Here's a screen capture. Hope you can help. I figured out that "problem" couls be in class.email.php, instruction $mail = $smtp->connect(); but i don't get any error message.If i set SMTP Status, disabled it works well but if i set enabled, don't.

Please check Admin panel -> Emails -> sec_informatia@beunosaires.* and alerts@beunosaires.* SMTP settings

That counts are not configurated. They are useless for me. I've set "Default Alert Email" to "Use Default System Email (Above)"and uncheck Poll on auto-cron and nothing happens

That doesn't tell me what your smtp setting are.

Hope, these can help.I'm sure the problem is with SMTP, but i can't figure out why. Settings in sec_informatica@*** are ok.By the way, alers@buenosaires.* are in blank.Thanks in advance

It's been a while since I played with my email settings... but you do realize that your last screen shot shows no password specified in Login Information: Password, you have checked SMTP Settings: Authentication Required which requires a password.

I realize that. Dont worried because pop/imap works fine. It seems password it is not showed.

Problem, solved: i set SMTP to port 25, information was saved and.... IT WORKS !!!Last question: Do you know why ? Cos, i tested hesk with port 465 and worked fine.I want to say thanks for your help and time.
