Upgrade from 1.6 ST to 1.8.0.2

I duplicated my current production Osticket in my test environment. I ran the upgrade from 1.6 ST to 1.8.0.2The upgrade ran and indicated it was successful. I immediately received 4 emails indicating a DB Error #1146. I can post the remaining 3 errors if it will help

The table group_dept_access was added in 1.7.0.Here is the SQL to create the table in 1.8.0.2DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `%TABLE_PREFIX%group_dept_access`;CREATE TABLE `%TABLE_PREFIX%group_dept_access` ( `group_id` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL default '0', `dept_id` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL default '0', UNIQUE KEY `group_dept` (`group_id`,`dept_id`), KEY `dept_id` (`dept_id`)) DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;note: Change %TABLE_PREFIX% to your table prefix. Which looks to be ost_.note 2: The SQL can be found in /setup/inc/streams/core/install-mysql.sql if your missing any other tables.

Very welcome. I'm not real sure why that table didn't get setup by the upgrader. I've pointed out this thread to the devs though so that they can look into it some more. I'm going to close this thread since you are all set. Please don't hesitate to post again if you have another question. :)

This is just a chasm of the migration process. Once you upload the 1.8 code over your 1.6 installation and login to the staff panel to perform the upgrade, the new 1.8 code will inspect your group membership -- which doesn't yet exist. So this message is triggered. It's completely harmless.I agree that the warning is confusing and that we should find a way to squelch the message from the upgrader
