post upgrade i've lost all my tickets

I can see them all in the DB, I updated to 5.3 of PHP but when login as admin all my tickets have disappeared. My admin PW is till the and I am using the correct (and only) DB on the sytem. please advise. I keep hearing about a data migration wizard but i was offered no such tool. Or I missed it.....that's pretty likely too frankly. Thanks

Lost is such a strong word - when you can see them in the database.Simply make sure your group has access to the desired departments... and chill out!

Based on what you've said I think that your user simply doesn't have access to see them (your tickets). Check Admin panel -> Staff for your info. If its really the only database on the server then all your data is still there. :)

I promise not to be particular about tone if you all promise not be to particular about my word choice, especially when you know I mean. Cool? Anyway, thank you for the help. So even when I am logged in as an admin's there no way to view all tickets from all departments without my user being toggled as being in that department?

Correct, If you are not a member of the department (or have access to that department via your group settings, or Team settings) then you cannot see tickets assigned to that department.
