--do not edit-- email message

The emails being sent out to customers have "---do not edit--" above the message body.I have looked at the templates but you don't seem to be able to remove this message.What does it mean?Is it possible to remove it or change it to something more informative.Thanks

It a reply tag separator - it's used by the system to determine where to start removing a quoted response on an email reply. You can change or disable it in Admin Panel > Settings tab > Email.
