I too am having this same issue, running 1.9.3Any suggestions yet?
I believe they changed how it buffers records in 1.9.4. It now does "Draft saved" flash message. I believe this changes this issue, either you get it less often or not at all. Can someone else try 1.9.4?
Sorry, I am on v1.9.4 (c18eac4)Seems to still be doing it.This is a fresh install for us as well.

Since there was no resolution posted here in the thread, I guess not, and as far as I know, there developers are aware of that issue and plan to change it / improve the behavior of the drafts system with one of the upcoming versions of osTicket.
