The osTicket team is pleased to announce availability of osTicket, v1.8.0.2, the latest stable release in 1.8.x series.
Release HighlightsThis release fixes bugs reported from 1.8.0.1, and introduces a few new enhancements.You can view more details about the enhancements and issues addressed on our blog and GitHub project page.We highly recommend upgrading your help desk to 1.8.0.2. No database migration is required, so the upgrade should not incur any downtime. Please refer to the release notes and the upgrade guide for complete instructions.If you are unable or unwilling to upgrade because you have customized your installation, you can download and apply a patch between the releases here.If you are deploying directly from git, you’ll simply need to fetch, merge, and deploy the new code.Maintenance Release for 1.7 SeriesFor osTicket 1.7 users who are unable or unwilling to upgrade to version 1.8, we’ve made a new maintenance release available, v1.7.5. This new version addresses a few issues from previous versions. These fixes have also been integrated into v1.8.0.2.Again, you can download a patch to upgrade your customized osTicket installation from v1.7.4 to v1.7.5 here.The rumors continue...We're also super excited to announce the availability of osTicket v1.8.1 DPR (Developer Preview Release) The DPR is recommended for developers and enthusiasts to peek into the system and work with us to troubleshoot the upcoming release.The DPR release includes much anticipated features including collaboration support (CC), LDAP integration, and the first phase of internationalization.
