Ah I see. Currently no I don't think that you can do that. I know Jared has said that he would like to re do some of the way the filter logic works to make it more powerful so maybe when he gets to that it will be better. In the interim however... I just went and played with this a little and looked int he database to see how its saving the stuff. The only real difference between the ban list and a filter entry in the ost_filter_rule table is the filter_id and how columns.a ban list entry looks like this:#,1,email,equal,nym@faux.com,1,2013-12-30 15,2013-12-30 15a filter entry that does the same thing looks like this:#,2,email,contains,faux.com,1,2013-12-30 15,2013-12-30 15I'm willing to bet that you could alter the db manually (or with an UPDATE statement) to change the equal to contains and the fitler_id from a 2 to a 1 that it might work. Then you would just need to remove the nym@ from your email addresses.I should also note that the ost_filter table also contains an entry for each rule... and you may want to actually write a script that exports your banned list and imports it as individual filters.
