For the custom field it's ok and works fine, but what about custom list?In this case it shows me the id in the list, so i need to add to the JOIN between tables the ost_list_items to get in output the value.Do you know where is cabled the sql statement for the tables in JOIN?I didn't find that... (in the 1.9.12 the sql was in the ticket.inc.php file and it was easy to do that...)Thanks

4 easy Steps I followed to add Department column in the Tickets section on OSTicket Version 1.9.12 .The text in Bold seen below is what was added or edited in the ../include/stafs/tickets.inc.php file.Use the text before and after the bold text to locate where to make the changes.The text in Red means its value was changed.I am not an expert but request experts to check if this breaks anything.Known Bug :) --> Agent panel > Tickets > My Tickets > Will show Department column twice. Screen shot after the new Department column is added with the only bug (duplicate column) which shows in the My Tickets Tab. Other tab would just show the Department column once. blank

Just disable Settings >> Tickets >> Show assigned tickets on open queue. Disabling this option will change "assigned to" column to "departments" column in the Open Tickets page . No need of the script changes above if you dont need the assigned to column :)Just found this after a days work on scripting (:http://forum.osticket.com/d/discussion//how-to-display-department-column-in-ticket-list

Hello All,I'm on 1.10 RC2I am at a school system with around 20 locations, and I'd like to have a location's column on the SCP Tickets page. I've gone to Manage --> Forms --> Ticket Details and added a custom label of "location". I have set it up to have the "Choices" Type, and my schools are the choices. The location shows up fine on the ticket details page, but I need it to display on the SCP tickets overview page as another column. Or if it's easier, it could replace "assigned to"I would be grateful if anyone could offer insight into how to do this. Thanks!

@[deleted]So that way I took care of this was to create one department for each building (although you could also set up one team per building too), and used the custom "Location" label and created a filter. If "School A" was selected as the location, then it was auto transferred (or assigned) to the School A Department.If you would like, I'd be happy to show you how I have my system set up for the school buildings.

I combined the department column and the status column mod into one

file. I give you guys credit for figuring it out. I have attached

tickets.inc.php with both mods done already on 1.9.14.I

really want to also add a column for date created, since the current

date column is based on the last response of the ticket. I'm just not

sure how to query the created column in the ticket_thread table

Okay, I know I am doing something stupid here but my brain is toast and I have had enough.

I am trying to add a custom list field to my ticket view. I have al ist of all of our locations and I want that to display in the agent view. I added the columns and everything is great except the view shows the index value instead of the friendly name from the list. In OST 1.9.4 it worked fine but in 1.9.14 it shows the ID not the value from the list.

I tried adding a JPOIN statement to fix this but I know I am doing something wrong here. Any help please?

The list id comes back but I want the value or even the extra field value will do here.

Wonder if someone could help, using v1.10 and trying to incorporate two fields. First is a custom field which is populated when the contact has been created. The other field is I want to display the Help Topic associated with the ticket. I am not a programmer in anyway, but will to give it a try if someone can point me in the right direction with examples.

I have one part working and that is using<td> <?php echo $T; ?> </td>But the list is just showing me numbers which I know refer to another table, but how do I get the actual text of this field.Might be easier to work off the Help Topic ID and then I can infer that with my custom list. Under // Select pertinent columns, I have added'topic_id'At the end of the table I have added<td> <?php echo $T; ?> </td> blank Now it's displaying the internal ID, how do I go about referencing this internal ID to the table which contains the Topic names which is located in ost_list_items

Has anyone successfully added a column in 1.10 yet? The code was changed so much with the addition of the custom sort options that my old mod does not work.I did basically the same thing as @[deleted] above but used 'topic' instead of 'topic_id' and have the same results. My help topic column is showing the topic id number rather than the name (with the exception that its blank rather than displaying 0 for tickets with no assigned help topic). I tried the suggestion from @[deleted] on page 7 but got a blank column. blank
